M.Beena honored with Social Excellence Award

The Heart Care Foundation honored M. Beena, director, Fisheries with the Social Excellence Award for her services in society as the district administrator.

Cyriac Joseph, judge of the Supreme Court, gave away the award to Dr. Beena on 6 March 2011 at the Lisie Hospital auditorium. The foundation chairman, Jose Chacko Periapuram, said that Dr. Beena's contribution in several social sectors as part of her duties as the District Collector has qualified her for the foundation's award.
